Look familiar? Actually, I'd love a 1A/1Z dongle if Sony made them.

Hey actually its beautiful copies, if only sony make them real.

Btw anyone care to share production date and serial number of their WM1A?
Since I bought it used from japan without box, I don't know when my unit is produced. That can be trace roughly from unit from other regions with label on the side that have production date with correlation to the serial number (the bigger the number, the later they're being produced)
Mine is 5060007. Anyone have serial number close to mine? 50k or 60k or 70k?

Thanks in advance

I bought these 2 dongles from Aliexpress a few months back.

The TP20 is meh, avoid.

TP30 is okay, but is very heavy and bringing it out on the go will surely attract robbers haha. They have a new TP50 which beats these 2, just came out last month.

All in all, the Sony WM1Z/1A beats these dongles in sound haha.

TP30 managed to mimic the 1Z perfectly for weight then 😜

I am listening to my Sony NW-WM1Z with my Shure SRH1540 headphones balanced. I am failing to hear why I would need anything else.20240217_183224.jpg20240217_183159.jpg

does anyone tried this? whats the effect?
Sony did not ground the 4.4mm jack so what this adapter does is take the ground from the 3.5mm jack to create a grounded 4.4mm output. It’s claim is to add an even more silent background. I have never tried it so have no idea if the effect is real

I'm excited because I ordered the WM1Z after some time thinking about it, and I'll buy a case

And I wanted to know if there is a transparent TPU case that does not turn yellow over time? I want a transparent case

I have this on my WM1A, and over time I noticed that it turns yellow

I have the Benks clear and it never turned yellow. The only downside of this case is that it doesn't really provide and drop protection. I dropped my 1A in it and I cracked the screen glass at the top right corner. Luckily the crack doesn't affect the touch screen operation. The case is thin enough that I can still fit my 1A in the Sony dock.

If you want protection, the FatBear is the best, except that it's either black or gray. It's also a bitch to get on and off.

Yes the FatBear is great for protection but really hard to get off. I have it on both my daps (and the A55 I sold) and had to take it off when I got the new 1.5TB cards and it was hell

This is the lowest price since Black Friday.
