Don’t worry AA has no reputation yet. I really like the thread were 3 boys from Austria defending a expensive headphone (2500 Euro are expensive for 99 percent of people if I would ask them on the street) which sounds good and are built nice. and as a mobile device it has to be closed and not open bec I don’t see me on a plane or a train listening with an open back headphone. that’s just not happen in real life so mobility (easy to drive) aren’t working in the wild maybe at home. so easy to drive makes just no sense for a open headphone.

You are missing the point. The cost of ownership is far less for the composer with amp and dac included than many other similiar headphones including the HD800. But I move around a lot, and yes I don't want to listen to the composer on the plane or train. But when I get where I am going, I can take my phone and a dongle and use the composer and it sounds much better than either my stax or my hd800 from said dongle. Now maybe you finally get it.

So I am not from austria. I understand you don't like how nomax expresses himself. So your solution seems to be to behave outside the normal etiquette of head-fi by constantly posting negative opinions about a headphone you have never heard. I am hitting ignore.

Mobile doesn't mean street, subway or airplane only. Mobile could also be bedroom, kitchen , garden, outdoor or hotelroom. At least for me.

Ok sorry, maybe we should take a poll. I don't recall you saying you're a loving owner the HD800S and having spent time with the composer like the senn better. I missed it somehow.

I left a comment three months ago (after I tried Composer at the Hi-Fi Show)...
and it's very close to what Resolve said.
Even if I left a comment (perhaps I did) about HD800S and that I would never change HD800S for Composer...
still...there are no "we"; no one can speak in my name but myself; otherwise, I consider it as some "cult" s***

Dude, I would never change Verum1 Mk2 (which I am listening to right now) for Composer.

Composer also appeals to a different group of buyers and is intended more for quiet environments. Especially where loudspeakers are not feasible for some reason and you still want to listen to music optimally without spending vast sums of money.
For die-hard hi-fi fans, 2,500 EURO is not too much when you look at other headphones above the 3,000 mark.

I got that before but I speak for myself and that’s not important for my listening experience. so for you it works that way but not for me. and I’m speaking as a user by myself not for other users. hope you get it too

Oh to the contrary, it absolutely does. Why should I have to invest in an amp that I can take with me? I’m often listening at some other place, and I’m quite happy that I don’t have to lug amps around but just my mobile source. And some headphones.

..and then I just finished watching Resolve’s review which absolutely is the opposite, getting less for what you’ll be paying for

Anyway, that’s just that. I still have to audition the Composer and draw conclusions for myself.

Yes, much smoother in the highs and much more body and pressure from low end than many many years ago

It seems that Reveal's review broke a dam or caused a flame of opinions. It's quite something.
Anyhow I feel a bit absurd to make one's personal reference headphone a kind of market target price model. For 800S this might be tempting because it's price has been quite solid for years. I personally have now listened Composer for about 80 hours. For me, according to my listening experiences, the asking price seems to be most appropriate.

Maybe more experienced headfiers are able to judge a headphone by a few minutes in an audio happening representation. I can't do that. I think Composer is so good pr better that it earns a decent listening before making nonchalanting judgements. I have not heard Sennheiser S800 so I think it's not possible for me to compare it to Composer. Anyhow, for many the S800 seems to be an important headphone. I appreciate that.

Ich ziehe den Composer ganz sicher einem Utopia vor.
Der 800S ist ein sehr guter Kopfhörer, kann aber mit dem AA nicht wirklich konkurrieren!
Und den ADX sehe ich genau zwischen den Beiden, vielleicht etwas näher beim Sennheiser, auch ein toller Hörer.

I'm a big fan Maurice Ravel the Frenchman. But I think you meant Resolve the reviewer.

Regardless, Ravel the composer is in fantastic company with the Composer, headphone, I'd imagine.
