Close to $7k worth of cans and the person is “new to the hobby” and his first post is to tell us Composer is “unbelievably good” without giving specifics. give me a break. We are not 3yr old here 🤣
Calm down and have a cup of tea.
We don't need personal attacks here.

The AA headphone amplifier Full Score one, which also appeared at the same time, is unjustly leading a niche existence here.
Since I got it, it has been doing its job "inconspicuously, unnoticed". Even if some additions would be desirable, it does what it is intended for, to act as a "pice wire with gain"!

Albeit a rather expensive one I’d say… I tried it out when I first heard the Composer, but for me it’s not a must have. Nice build, but I would have to add a DAC, which would again look different…

I will listen to the Score One again👍, even if I don't need it myself....because I also own the Lotoo 👍👍

I don't think anyone noticed that Musichead put AA Composer as the 7th best headphone, after Stealth and before the elite. Since he mostly writes about headphones he likes, and most things get almost 5 out of 5 stars in every category, it's hard to know what he really means. But his top ten is where the wheat gets seperated from the chaff.

In anycase, with the exception of the RAAL CA1, the Composer is much, much less expensive than the other 8 headphones on his top ten list.

At this point it might be Important to point out, that his top ten order changes every now and then depending on mood

Mood? I have been following his awkward prose for some time. I think he changes it as he hears something better. In anycase, it's on his list and by his standards better than three other much more expensive headphones. He doesn't like the Utopia that much either.

Fidelio gives, as far as I've seen, very positive reviews of the chosen headphones with even poetic words. Anyhow it's remarkable, that Composer is in good Company with a reasonable price tag, at least when compared to others in the list.

I'm pretty sure that the Abyss has also been ahead of the Susvara at some point.

Maybe for him it changed with a different amplifier or something or just a mood change.

I never saw the abyss ahead of the sus, I have been reading him for years. But maybe when he heard the sus with the riviera amp, that was responsible for the mood swing?
