I could only locate one usb-c to lightning cable (in one). And that did not work.

i think i have others in the house...somewhere...

Anyway - one result is that the CCK isn't needed.

So the ddhifi TC28i is an OTG adapter so a simple USB-C Patch like TC-05 can work for a DAC ..
Otherwise, a Lightning to USB-C cable must be OTG as it can't work without this function in the cable! like Type C to Lighting Cable with OTG (X-C15) - xDuoo official store

just simply google ddhifi and several online store option will pop up. (Thumbs up)

I could post a link but i do not know where you live and which store would be best for you

Historically the way to do it with Apple (lightning) and dac amps is to use an Apple camera connection kit (in earlier days was the 30 pin version).




but as seen below with the DACportable and some others it isnt always needed.

I will go through my cables when i wake up on a few more hours and see if i have a lighting to usb c cable.

What can you tell about the sonic differences between dacportable and HiFi M8 v2? Thank you.
