Yeah, those have some nice engine sound.
Especially when turbo charged...

agree on the honda VTEC, but a little needly at times. my GTI on the other hand, like most audi and VW sports versions, sounds to my ears a bit under-revving, making you want to kick it more... the danger of shifting by ear. of course the sports mode in the tiptronic/DSG will take care of that. bat out of hell!

I guess i'll post my car. Can you guess?

1999 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 M6 - 5.7L LS1 V8 - ~350rwhp
Hooker Longtube headers, catless y-pipe, and catback. SLP lid with K&N filter. KY "Stage 2" clutch (or so they call it, i hate "stages". it's a little better than OEM). Pro 5.0 shifter. Some other little things.

Plans: Wider wheels and tires (295-315's in the back). Cam+Heads for ~450rwhp, or a local turbo kit for 550rwhp/630ft/lbs torque (proven at 9psi on a stock engine). Suspension.

My car (sounds a lot better in real life. much deeper and less raspy. the revs sound awful in the video):
0-80mph
1st gear redline: 50mph
2nd gear redline: 80mph
