  Really been digging the sound of the dt1350's, seems to be getting better and better with burn in. Just wondering if beyerdynamic makes an over ear model with a similar sound signature?

Perhaps, but I haven't heard it.
 
The closest I've heard is the HE-500.  While the 500 is clearly superior (and priced accordingly), I found their sound signatures to be in the same ballpark.

I had the same question, Beyer suggested the DT880 etc. I bought T90's great but different than the 1350's. The soundstage is much more open and airy with the T90's and the bass
is very accurate...the 1350's are indeed 1350's I have not heard anything that mimics them well to my ears.

Thanks for the feedback. Love my 1350s but a bit uncomfortable for long listening sessions unfortunately, I was kind of hoping something like the T70 might be similar but I guess not. The search continues...

That's funny.  The 880s are NOTHING like the 1350s in terms of sound signature.

They share some similarities...but the T5p is closer to the DT1350.      Like adydula, I have not been able to find a full-size can, open or closed, that sounds just like the DT1350. 
 
The Mikros 90 is very similar, but the Martin Logan is another closed portable (it is cheaper though...and the sound stage is bigger).

I would think the coiled cable would work out better that the long straight cable.
The facelift version for sure.

Comfort might be a bit better with the facelist version as the pads are a bit wider, i.e. distribute pressure more. Soundwise there is no difference I know of, Beyerdynamic states that only the pads changed (those larger pads were available for the original version as well, I got them and did not notice any difference in sound).
 
Coiled cable is fine when working with them on (i.e. live monitoring or DJing, which they were built for): you won't step on your cable so often. For all other purposes I'd take the straight cable, it should even be a bit lighter.

Hi guys, its been a long while since I first started this thread. I got reaquainted with the DT1350 a few months ago and decided to do a video review. I originally bought the DT1350 when it was first released but decided to sell it a year later due to having to many mobile headphones. I missed the DT1350 to much and grabbed another one. Woah they are darn amazing! For SGD 200 (USD 160). Some first impressions though not needed since all here already own a pair, just felt like sharing.

Bass: Tight and impactful but if it was a little heavier and more impactful it would be great!

The soundstaging is adequate. Instrument pinpoint is also decent but no iem standard (obviously)

Tonality wise quite musical. Will report back soon. Comfort seems to be a potential issue here, so does sealing.
