Hi dears,

I would like to know if someone have both the dt48 and a grado ps500/magnum/alessandro. Shortly, I've a pair of magum and I love them but sadly my amplifier is designed for high impedance headphones and so I was thinking to buy a dt48 200 ohm... What I will miss?
Do you think it could be e right choise?
Consider that I already have a pair of hd800.

You help is really appreciated!!!
Marco

FYI, that member who had both, or should i say 3 of those you had mentioned, held onto the Senns and the DT48A, whilst let go of the Grados,

We have sad news for all DT 48 fans: we have to inform you that all models of the DT 48 Series will be discontinued by the end of 2012. Unfortunately the very special material used for the diaphragm is no longer available. After intensive researches for a material substitution and long considerations we came to the decision to discontinue the DT 48 Series. Spare parts will still be available. And yes, we are very sad to lose our dinosaur in our headphone portfolio, as well.

Thinking of finally getting the DT48A I've been holding off on. I was thinking of getting a Z1000 or T70, but this is probably more important.

Does this mean the price will go up like the K1000 and 501?
