The Burson is a great mid level combo.  The joke is that the DAC part is the real bargain and the amp though good isn't as good as the DAC is.

Sources = PS Audio PWD, NAD M51 (loaner)
Amps = B22, Luxman P-1u

My recommendation is to do lots of searches here, with a bias toward posts from 2 years ago or more.

FWIW, I just checked the warranty papers that came with my LCD-2 rev 2.newbutnotbamboo (i.e., rosewood, but with new cable entry) and the warranty states it is a 1 year warranty.  I received this unit a couple of weeks ago.

FYI: I just reduced the price of the LCD-2 rev.2 (with leather headband) that I'm selling. It's an especially great price for UK/EU residents considering the import cost of buying a new LCD-2 from the US; see my signature for more info.

Someone should contact Audeze, but I'm betting the older rosewoods have a 3 year warranty.  The newer rosewoods have a one year warranty.  I think the rosewood cracks too easily, and they don't want to have to replace after 1 year.  The bamboo has a 3 year warranty because it probably doesn't crack as easily.  The website states one year for the rosewood and 3 for the bamboo.

The web site is not updated very often, certainly not vetted often and is wrong.

3 year warranties were in response to the LCD-3 manufacturing process errors.  The 3 year was then applied to all Audeze products.  The announcements are here on Head-Fi not on the website.

I'll say it again... ALL Audeze products carry a 3 year warranty including those purchased BEFORE it was changed from 1 to 3.  Because lets be frank here, anything less would result in internet rage :wink:
