Any one here who tried the foam headband and the new leather one thinks the original one was much comfortable ? Those bumps on the new one are really uncomfortable.

I've tried them both, the leather bumps are imperceptible to me. Are you bald by chance?

Would the Schiit Asgard drive the LCD-2 better than the Burson HA-160?   If so I may just sell off the Burson when I receive it and buy the Asgard for about half the price.  I'm looking to stay solid state and under $400, I scared to plug my HD650 into the Lyr with stories of blown drivers.

For the HD650s, the Lyr is fine. I would stay away from low impedance / highly sensitive cans/IEMs though. I used it with my T1s and HD800s and never had an issue. The Lyr is far and away the better amp for the LCD-2s compared to the Asgard and Burson IMO.

New discovery today.

Can't believe my amped modded CD950's put my "unamped" LCD2's easily to shame in terms of clarity, bass width, mid bass, sub bass, bass depth, soundstage, treble and highs. For a vintage mid range headphone back from the 80's rated 60ohms require so much juice to run them to its best.
