Here is a video with it, seems to be using a burr brown dac chip.

It also seems to be using the same clocks as their trinity product thats priced 3795 euro, so I guess this thing wont be very cheap.
Still would be very intressting to see how this does as an all in one product.

Is it common that people use external clocks for listening?

No... nothing about a $5000+ DAC is common

I don`t believe that the standard Zodiac will cost $600. With such advanced features this DAC will cost minimum 2000$. Antelope Audio is making the most precise Master Clocks in the world (for example their Atomic clock has accuracy of 0.03 parts per BILLION with stability of 1 second in 1,000 years.) and they say they use same 64 Bit Acoustically Focused Technology and oven controlled oscillators to reduce the jitter in Zodiac .That would be great but will cost much more than 600 USD .

Atothex said he has never heard of these guys. Here is an interesting link ... Seems Universal Mastering Studios UPGRADE to Antelope`s clocks . Seems like these Antelope`s guys know what they are doing . Their clocks are considered the best in the world, bar none and many people are using Antelope`s clock to re clock some real expensive DACs

It looks like there will be three models:

1. Zodiac, tentatively priced at ~$1500.00.
2. Zodiac+, tentatively priced at ~$2500.00.
3. Zodiac Gold, tentatively priced at ~$3500.00.

If I heard correctly, I think the Zodiac Gold (which isn't shown on their site yet) will have a gold relay attenuator.

It looks like all will have Trinity-level clocking.

I expect to have a chance to hear at least one of these units--hopefully in a couple of weeks--when Marcel from Antelope Audio stops by my office for a visit.

What I heard was that Zodiac Gold will support up to 384 kHz /24 Bit.
