I've read through a lot of this thread and noticed it mentioned an older thread for the tera. What happened to that thread?

Things got very heated and eventually the thread was locked (including they banned Tera creator Charles from this site). He went out in style however - if I remember correctly he basically told everyone who was on his case to f off by posting some german punk video. It would have been very funny if it was not sad to lose his presence on Tera threads/topics going forward.

My only complain will be that the Tera-Player cannot read 256,512 GB SDXC. I would love to have more music on a single card, but then again I know a very good supplier that has the 64 GB SanDisk blue for only £8.99 with free shipping.
That's the price of 2 cups of coffee :)
Is it easy to navigate between folders? Do you write lists on what's on each card?

Very easy. I have a root folder where I keep all the folders. I usually listen on random mode, but once I find a song that suits my mood, just a single press of a button and I am in that folder.
For beginners I recommend to use just a 8 or 16 GB SDHC , until you learn how navigation works, but wishin a day you will want to have a bigger card and more songs.
I have 3300 WAV 16. Bit 44.1 khz songs on a 128 GB SDXC, so no problem, just enjoy the music.

No, I use just the Koss Porta Pro own modified directly.
Nice good old headphone. In my teens I used to jog 90 mins every night with a porta Pro. When the cushions tore I would just buy another with my pocket change. Actually pretty much everything sounded good on it even cassettes.

I love porta pros. I actually use them with my Lpgt as I think they sound great together
