Yes, I know. I don't know why you couldn't have just said that.
This could give us actual proof if any of them really sound different. Maybe the 65th and K712 measurements are
very different. If they measure the same it still doesn't mean much. Not always.
The Q701 and K702 have similar measurements on some sites and are quite different sounding. Let's not go there..
I'm glad I bought the Q701 before seeing measurements though.
I can't do that with the K712 because it's too stupid expensive just for some possible minor differences. I'm still not convinced it's really different than the 65th.
BTW someone should take a picture of the K712 driver! Possibly just one of those really good K702 drivers that got their own part #.
Oh and I wonder if the K712 memory foam pads are 100% identical to the 65th.
I wonder if the K712 is more airy sounding than the 65th. If AKG managed to pull that off with those crappy memory foam pads then i'll be sort of impressed.
The Q701 sounds more airy and spacious sounding than the 65th but not the K702 (obviously).
If the K712 is midway between the 65th and Q701 in terms of warmth, then I might love it. The 65th would be perfect if it had a little more upper mids and treble (just for my preferences).
Need to know if K712 has more upper mids and treble compared to the Annie...
