Has anybody fitted the headband from ATH-M50X onto ATH-M70X?

Damn you AT! The gimbal is off centre on 70x so this wouldn't work.

yea they have been discontinued for a very long time now. Lucky I still have my originals and MKIIIs!

Less padding on the headband and they are £179 and that is apparently saving 20%. I remember when I got my original K550s and they were £130 and I still use them now 10 years later.

Still a very good value as mine also is more than 10 years of usage now and still going strong

There are quite a few on ebay.

As the K553 is still made (which I didn't realise) there still will be suitable earpads for the K550 made for some time i think. Just search on ebay for k550 or k553 ear pads.

Hello.

I use Brainwavz sheepskin pads for these headphones for like 2 years or so. These are pretty durable imo.

Also about the sound i feel like the bass quality is improved and isolation is much better now but its just my opinion.
