Test your hearing

Adaptive pitch: 1.05 Hz. I think I'd do better if I took it a second time though. The other two I was too distracted by surrounding noise (and Stax aren't isolating at all) for the results to be meaningful (ie: They were crap).

This is an interesting thread.

I took this test twice, the second time immediately after the first.

My scores in the first time were a fail, low normal and normal.
The second time my scores were low normal, normal and normal respectively.

In all six cases my scores were in the lower part of the respective ranges. Kind like F, D- and C-.

The test was rather long and boring.

Without being sure I have a feeling that if one practices and if he has had music training (which I did not) he
might be able to significantly improve his scores.

Could my scores be the reason I do enjoy certain inexpensive headphone sets

It's resurrect-a-dead-thread-time! I did the Tonedeaf test with my ATH-A900Ti. The other three tests were done over my MacBook's internal speakers.

Tonedeaf: 83,3% (very good)
Rhythm: 64% (normal)
Adaptive Pitch: 1,35Hz (very good)
Musical-Visual
Intelligence: 80% (excellent)

I'm really unhappy with that score on the Rhythm test, but I'll just go ahead and blame it on my MacBook's speakers.
