TDK BA200 Thread

You can read up more on the Shures here:
http://www.innerfidelity.com/content/shure-ear-series-se215-se315-se425-and-se535-page-2

If your music is more vocal focused, or has extensive use of string/wind instruments, I think Shure can be an excellent choice.

Thanks, already checked that one.
Also found plenty of information in this thread. I believe 315 might be a very nice option for me. It is described as forward and aggressive. However, I am planning to get an aggressive-sounding player (MA8), so not sure whether they will make a good couple.

So, the decision now is between Shure 315, TDK BA200 and Phonak PFE.
I'm getting TDK IE800 anyway, and maybe RE400 (they are reported to produce nice vocals and overall very good for their price).

^^ that's the only difference. Nothing else is changed except that the v2 no longer comes with the 1/8 to 1/4 adapter.

Oh gosh! deal breaker!
TDK I'm through with you!

That's odd though, for not including the adapter. I don't suppose most people need it but weird nonetheless.

I doubt the BA200 is any fuller, likely the opposite since the IE800 is dynamic driver and the BA200 a balanced armature

Have you had both?

I have and its not even close. The BA200 is known for having a warm sound even thought its a BA.

I've owned both (and compared them both in this (or the IE800) thread.. a while ago).  The BA200 will sound warmer & weightier than the IE800.
