It is . I received Pro 82 from Takstar Audio Store in my office. I didn't want to use paper cutter fearing I might damage retail box so I started removing the tape one by one. It took more than 10 minutes to get to the headphones and the sound of removing tape made my colleagues ask me what the hell I was doing

Congrats with your Pro 82! I sliced through the wrap slowly but it took me couple minutes before I can pull the box out. Glad that it didn't damage the box.

Impression with iDSD micro BL pair with Pro 82:

Great combo! It does open up the soundstage with 3D feature on the BL. It is resolving but without mod could cause some issues with the treble. The bass is tight and punchy. Vocal is the amazing especially with acoustic female song. I found that the Pro 82 could only scale so much especially when I compare the micro BL with my main setup. With both pair, the Pro 82 has a similar sound quality. I would say that my main setup provides a tad more micro detail and smoother treble. The case is different with my other cans, HD800, HD6XX and T90. With my main setup, they perform so well; a few levels above the micro BL. As I mentioned awhile ago, my setup is meant to be revolved around HD800. I am not surprised that the Pro 82 could do better with different setup. I personally love the Pro 82 with micro BL as much as I love them with my main setup. My point is, if you want to achieve the most out of Pro 82, iDSD micro BL is one of them.

With batteries you can use the amp without all that AC noise - which can be an advantage, even compared to bigger and more expensive amps that are AC-bound.

I had a similar issue because I had also ordered a Christmas dress my wife liked on that day to for her to wear on Christmas day as a gift. It ended up coming December 28th When I contacted them they only gave me a partial refund. Still it came over 2 weeks ago when ordered on the same day as my headphones.

That's a bummer! On the headphones, definitely, hope you get those soon! But truly a downer on the Christmas dress, being late.

I got lucky on my cans since a fellow Head Fi'er was selling his Pro 82 and I bought stateside and got it really quickly.

I have had pro-82 a month, and gone through several combinations of dac/amplifications, like Gustard A20h, SMSL IDEA (without O2), Fiio Q1 mk2, and Alientek D8 with O2 and without O2.
The best combination is with Alientek D8 of DAC/amp.

First of all my brain/machine chain broken-in took a month to appreciate the pro-82, among Th-900, Sony MDR Z7, Nighthawk, Nightowl, and Fidelio X2 which are strong competing against in every way.

The stock one is too short to be comfortable, and my amp has only 6.5 mm jack.
