It's funny how if you mention loving the 82pro in some audiophile threads around here you're basically asked to hand in your audiophile card.
As with peskypesky, I too still have them as one of my personal favorites.
I am now finally getting around taking them through the paces using my recent-ish bought Hiby R5ii. To my ears one of the Pro82's best features is that they amp quite well. So I'm now using them with the R5ii's class A amp at mid gain on a balanced out on the 3db bass boost. Which to me is one of those "I don't really know what more I could ask of headphones" experiences. Maybe I'm not worthy of the audiophile card...
