Still considering Pro 82, some said it's U or V shaped, which sounds like something I'd enjoy,

They're actually pretty balanced comparing to stuff you mentioned. They have these bass ports that you can open to boost the bass, but in stock they sound balanced.

K371 is even more balanced because of more flat frequency response than Pro 82. More details, more realistic and reference sound, no ability to boost bass. Well, even K361 has more realistic sound than Takstars, but less low-end, more upper-mid and more treble than K371.

And it would actually be a lot better in my opinion. But if we're talking bass, then yeah, GM200 is the king.

I envy guys who listen to bass-boosted tracks and do not getting tired of boominess. Wish things were that simple for me =)

GM200 arrived today after 7 weeks of waiting, they have been playing against Sony MDR-1 A which were already on my desk. The Sony have more impact / slam and a sharper (but not tiring or sibilant) treble spike. Early impressions are good, I feel Takstars show details nicely. Separately I had purchased a Sabaj DA3 DAC/AMP which also arrived today, great timing as the impact of the GM200 was lacking when fed through the Fiio K1, I didn't notice any obvious difference elsewhere in the sound

After more burn in i'll be comparing to my collection of bassy mid-fi cans, I don't see why they wouldn't stay in the gang.

I love this pair of headphones but hate my blue snowball ice, the cloud 2s mic was so much better it was clear enough and suppressed a lot of my background noise is there any boom mics like the cloud 2 that will work on the takstar pro 82 which dont pick up too much background noise? After a bit more time with the GM200, they don't have the bass punch / extension i prefer, but is a good gaming headset (I have not tested the mic).
Treble and mids are smooth, bass is boosted, but not as much as I like. Still to get a feel for the sound-stage precision.

WUUUT. Extension - I may agree with that. Bass punch - come on, these cans have too much bass emphasis for almost everything, even for games.
