Apparently his sights are on the TSX. I hope he hasn't ordered them yet...

Oh shizzle!

I've ordered them already...thank god for your touch up!

I'm going to email them and ask for a change, as the item has yet to be shipped (due to midnight over here).

Thanks!

I need to pick between T or TX or TSX. I can't find any TS and there's no refunds:/

Maybe you can still go with the TSX and just cut the filter out. I haven't tried it tho...

Yup. Never did get used to the TSX series as I find the filter tends to muffle the sound, regardless of what the phones are. They might tone down some phones which can't handle highs well, but I've yet to find a need for them.

Ah, so are the filters the main issue? Or is it the shape of the tips?

I know TSX are spherical, whilst the TX are cylindral.

The TSX seems to perform really well with my filter mod on my XBA3s. Really smooth sounding highs now...

Ah, alright, what's the filter mod? And how do I do it?

I did it only with the xba3. Took me 5 revisions.

Nice write up!

I didn't happen to see that when it was first posted!

Oh, but I didn't see the part where you told us how to remove the foam layer in the tips? Or did I miss something? Haha

Sorry it's not there... Lol. Simply pull them off the sleeves. Really easy.

Oh, haha, will try when I receive them!

By doing this, should make them perform without any of the muffling?

Oh you mean the filter on the TSX tips? Nah I haven't tried it.
But i'm confident that the muffling is caused by the filter on the TSX tips.

It will not have that muffled sound, but overall, the sound will still come off a little rounded due to the porous nature of the Comply tips. Not much, so I wouldn't worry too much about it.... Unless you are really anal about stuff like that.
