I'm sorry i can't commend on this because I don't own nor have I heard them.
A pity such a fellow like yourself has yet to be touched by the Gods over at Vsonic HQ.

Department: Flagship

Next Revelation: SOON™

Anybody that has a GR07, vanilla or chocolate, comparisons are very much welcome. Gracias:thumbsup:

Well, I can see that GR07 has a big following and have on many occasion considered picking them up. There were also many revision to it like MK2, BE and Classic which is kind of confusing. The only thing stopping me was commends of it being prone to sibilant which I'm very sensitive to. Following some comments that it have been toned down with the VSD3S, I decided it's the time to give it a go. Cut to the chase, I'm glad I did for the price I paid for it.

For anyone interested - my review of the Altone200 has just been posted:

Thanks for the heads-up on these Luke.  You've done a stellar job working with Sunggoo to get them tuned to their final signature.  Much kudos mate!

Fixed that for you :)

NEVER. Now I'm moved basing on the good experience I have now with the 3S. The thing is, variables such as Mk2, BE and Classic is too much to read up on in a short time. So pardon me for going ot on this one. As far as I know, some fine tuning was done on the Mk2, bass added on the BE while the classic is just the same as the original. Please correct me if I'm wrong so I can go in the right direction from here. Thanks in advance.

As for the Altone, it will come in due time. Very soon I will say.

@Brooko, great write up on the Altone and appreciate your thoughts and effort.

How strange, I was doing something completely non Head-fi related and had this vision of popping over here to find your review up minutes ago. Seems you really like them Brooko, going from my FiiO X5 audition I can see Altone pairing extremely well with that unit. Excellent work mate, enjoy Altone200. I see the tips you have in your review are different to what I have.

Mine are basically blue versions of H-300 tips with a smaller bore.  I don't think the blue housing looked quite as admirable either to be honest.

You guys will all get the premium looking version.
