HA200 and SolP swapped against X + Solitaire T?
Sounds like a significant downgrade?
Have you had the chance to demo the T and what are you planning to use as DAC/Amp instead?
Now my plan simply is a High end wireless Headphone + Cellphones :))

Would be interested in hearing some recommendations on SS desktop amps in the $1-2k range that work well with the SolP.

I’m using headphones more and more, so may opt to move from the portable C9 to a full size amp. Key criteria are SS (been down the tube rabbit hole and not keen on going back) and balanced.

Ideally a standalone amp - I don’t mind AIO’a but not a fan of most on the market, in particular since many use ESS DACs which I don’t enjoy, and most don’t have analog in allowing one to bypass the internal DAC. An AIO based on AKM or R2R may be an option.

Any and all suggestions welcome 😁
This was an old post but there's a new ADI-2 Pro, again with dual HP outs (as far as I know, volume can be separately adjusted) and now also a pentaconn output. Also more power.

Considering getting a t+a ha200. Has anyone used the HA200 with susvara? How does it sound? Can it drive the susvara to its almost full potential ?

I guess the term "full potential" is the key. I use my Susvara with my HA200. The HA200 has tone controls, cross feed, and a variety of other features that I love. When I use it with the Susvara I do have to turn the HA200 to about 80% sometimes, though I don't like to listen with the volume too loud. I will also add bass through either the tone controls or the loudness feature. It sounds fine. Could they sound better on a more powerful amp, maybe, but I am happy running them off the HA200. I have other amps that I can use for the Susvara, but the convenience and features of the HA200 is more than worth it for me. I didn't feel this way at the beginning of my headphone adventures, but now, I have tired of chasing that last 5% of perfect sound. The Susvara on the HA200 sound fine to me.

Thanks, what impedance setting do you use? How does the loudness setting work? I Will probably get the ha200 tomorrow :) comparing it with my moon 430had

One can now acquire a relatively compact Purifi-based class D power amp (with adjustable gain) for roughly $1200-1500. For anyone looking to discover the "full potential" of the Susvara, that is what I'd recommend investing in currently. Such a chain can be further tuned to taste with upstream component choices (preamp or DAC). There are numerous vendors around the globe producing Purifi-based amps, such as Buckeye (US) and Apollon or BoXem (EU). Most offer a risk-free in-home trial.

It has also been my experience that these speaker amps work very well with most (particularly insensitive) planars provided the gain isn't too high. With something the Solitaire P, it may be less practical. One advantage of the Purifi-based amps for driving headphones is their extremely low noise floor, especially given the power on tap.
