So I like the se model it's better in the clarity department. I don't notice any sound from the plastic. My music is Dubstep and other genres of edm. Bass is really good. Very lively sound. This doesn't sound like the P at all. Detail is really good. The big word is CLARITY. I don't know why they couldn't do something like infuse it with fiber to make it feel better Meze did it for $600 less.

I'm guessing the driver is custom made by the company in England and maybe that pushed the price so high on the P se(need better name). If you can afford the P get it as it's that much better. Headphones in my collection that I have bought multiples of are

1266 TC, Empyrean and Solitaire P. My compulsive nature requires some reefer to disappear.

Has someone the EQ settings for the Harman curve?
For P-SE.

My ha200 is in customs which is strange in US. They let the headphones through fast but not the amp.
I am not surprised. It really looks military grade stuff 😁

I guess I'll have 2 until this becomes popular.

Can you fill in some more details on these comments, I don't totally follow what you mean:

And, you mean that you bought a regular + a boxed backup for:
1. 2x Abyss TC
2. 2x Meze Empyrean
3. 2x Solitaire P
?

I saw in your profile that you've also got the HiFiMAN HE-6 4-screw, can you share how that compares to any of the above 'phones? Do you even listen to them anymore? Did you do any of the mods to them or feed them from a speaker amp?

Ok I'm on the spot. So talk quickly about HE-6. I had it and never connected to a speaker amp. I was afraid to use it thought it might break so I sold it. I liked it more then Susvara. Amped off the Headtrip 2 which was enough for me. Currently have HE-6se Adorama Edition or V2. That one sounds closest to 4 screw.

The Solitaire P se is brighter sounding very good detail. Some of the reviews said the P doesn't have air on top. Well the se has a lot. The bass does not bleed into the midrange. Separation of sounds is easy to distinguish. I'm going to listen to them some more today and see how my impressions change. There's youtube live stream that a small discussion of who makes the driver. The headphone doesn't feel like it's $3600 in build so I'm guessing the money is going into the driver. Dampening looks the same as the P using that white material on the back.

The se should have been a variant the P. So someone not liking the P tuning would go for this one. Basically they put a Ferrari engine in a Honda Civic. If they don’t want a crappy sounding headphone don’t get into lower end prices.
