Just bought my 668B's.  Will be doing a review when they arrive.  Can't wait!!  I will hopefully be getting some velour ear pads in the coming weeks, unless the stock pads fit my head well enough.

I recently bought some Alpha pads and on a whim,tried them on my 668B's. The velour pads are much better than the stock pads but they feel like they poking my skin. The Alpha pads' fit are  perfect. My ears no longer touch the inside,the seal is by far superior and they alleviate some of the strong clamping force that I feel the 668B's have. As far as sound quality goes,I am willing to say that the seal compensates for the loss of bass when there is more space between my ears and the drivers. The Alpha pads cost me more than the 668B's but hey,I think they go well together.

Do these cans need an AMP for computer use?

I personally think so if you want to get a really good sound from them.

Any suggestions for an amp to pair with them?  Also what are these Alpha pads you speak of?  If they cost that much, I'm probably not going to get them, but for future reference.

Mr.Speakers Alpha pads. I bought them for some Fostex cans that I have and tried them on my 668B's just see if they fit. The only amp that I have is an E11 and it works well with the 668B.

Perfect to hear that!  I was actually going to look into the E11 or the E7.

They came in the mail Wednesday.  I will post a full review with first impressions after the weekend as I will be travelling.
