Hey,
I have a pair of Grado RS-2 that I love. I listen mostly to Metal, Prog Metal, Rock, Big Band/Jazz, Classic Rock.
I am looking for something with a similar sound signature but in a higher impedance category. I have really enjoyed listening to them on my Little Dot MK III I know it is designed in mind for cans of 300+ ohm of impedance being straight tube.
Any suggestions? Just as a reference point I have listened to a pair of open ear AKG701s and didn't like them. They sounded a little too light and airy for me. What other brands might I look into?
