As we say in italy "we must give caesar what belongs to caesar" and in this case I can't blame our dear

going back to the 9000..it makes me a bit strange to have given up on the r10 in july because of a somewhat particular philosophy: listening on the go; and after having had the best possible combinations, i surrendered to the fact that real music is listen at home..and you'll wonder "why mention the r10 on a speech that seems unrelated?" perhaps, in fact it does not make much sense, but it was my first fi summit and it is from here that I can make comparisons with beasts of the same league.
and i have always acclaimed the old sony like many other headfiers as the best headphone for its incredibly real voices.. well, the x9000 (my first open headphone) made me doubt this statement.
I really can't find fault with the 9000..it's true, the voices sound different from the r10s,are less "crispy" and softer, warmer..but they are so well laid out on the stage (extremely precise) and open that it seems have the singer in front of you..
I honestly can't even understand why the 9000 has no bass (no criticism against other people's opinions), but as far as my ears hear, the bass of the 9000 is abundant in quantity but above all in quality!
now that I think about it, I mentioned the r10 because they are always the eternal rivals (r10, he90, omega, q010) and until proven otherwise, the omega is the grandmother of the 9000, and a real winner has never been declared against the old sony .
(and it seems to me that the omega doesn't differ so much from the 9000)
so sorry for my sentences lol
