So far so good. Trying different tips now. Any recommendations for other types of tips I might try?

Found my Philips 4.5 ac to dc adapter, 4.5v center pin + and outer is -. Did not work, nor did my Sonly one which is the same.

I received Pink Panthers adapter and color me impressed! Been listening to the SR-002 through a Cary Rocket 88 in triode mode and they really sing with this setup.

I can finally connect the portable SR-001/002 to my SRM-T1 tube amplifier! :) A good friend built the adapter for me. It's a lot of fun to listen to the little ones. Go together incredibly well. The signature is similar to the legendary Omega in my opinion. Beautiful midrange and powerful bass. Just awesome...

Finally, got a pair to go alongside my SR-407. So far the Bose QC20i tips have helped with comfort and seal considerably. I was curious though, where did you get those hooks?

Do you mean these? https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4000018001900.html

you have to search for „tws k2“ Earhooks…
I've bought them - they help 003 to stay in the ear, but there is no seal yet - so no bass.

The best sound so far I was able to achieve in these two ways:
1) Use 003 with cable up, the earbuds are connected on the correct sides - but you switch sides listening.
2) Use 003 with cable down, the earbuds are connected on the opposite sides - with the opening only partially exposed.

Of course, tip rolling is super important too - I've tried many generic ones, before finding ones that sounded best to me - it's very personal, so everyone should try to find the best ones for them.
Large single flanges usually sound best - since 003 can't really go deep in the ear canal, smaller tips don't seal.

Hi !
For many years I listened to IEM with armature driver, but now I wanted to change something - e.g. for electrostats.
Rather portable, of course. I used shure which are very comfortable for a long time, I wanted to buy kse 1200/1500 but I did not succeed, so I am looking for staxes now, but they look not very comfortable - can you attach custom tips in them? And if so, where to order them?
Are portable staxes really that uncomfortable to wear?

Fits my ear comfortable and yes they are superior to KSE1500, I have both SR002 and KSE1500.
