AxelCloris is right...it sounds easier than it really is to organize a full-fledged meet. A few guys getting together is easy, but renting or reserving a space, advertising it, ensuring that most guys have the day free and then keeping the excitement up so people don't back out...that's a job. It's fun though, and I don't mind doing it!

I don't believe you have to be an "official" member of Head-fi.org to attend. We always welcome new people. Some people just attend to know where to start the hobby.

Anyway, thanks for the interest guys.

More to come. I'm going to shoot for September. It' may sound far away, but based on past experience, spring is just around the corner and summer is full of people going on vacation, kids activities, etc.!

Saturdays in the fall are tough for me since I am a collage football nut and I am at the Big House every home game.

Unfortunately there are no Saturday in September where bot teams are out. Probably the more suitable one is 9/29. MSU receives CMU and UofM is at Northwestern.

In case some people want to get together in the summer I would be down to host a mini-meet at my apartment. I most likely won't be in Michigan by the end of summer so I'm selfishly interested in getting a meet together before then. Anyways, I'm in Ann Arbor/Ypsi area (right next to EMU) so if any of you are interested in coming out this way in the next few months shoot me a PM or something.
