Well, I've extensively auditioned M1 Pro and loved it, whereas I've used briefly auditioned QP1R and thought it was OK. I might grow enamored with QP1R with more time, but I haven't had the chance yet. And our tastes might differ. So many reasons why one prefers one piece of kit over another...

I have listened to QP1R for a week only in the past, it was started off with very congested sound and tight soundstage, after burning in for 30 hours, the soundstage is like double up bigger, clearness and accuracy was also improved. However due to the vocal part is not so emotional (comparing to Hm802s & WM1A), I have returned it for WM1A.
Over these few months, i still missing too much of the accuracy and good low frequency impact of QP1R, something in my mind is "was it 30 hours enough to judge qp1r and decided it not so emotional for vocal ?".
I have no problem to own 1 more DAP (despite already having wm1a, 802s, 901U), Now looking at this M1 PRO thread, i have some hesitation again.
