Sound Science is Dangerous to our Enjoyment of Music!

Yep! I am aware of "Brilliant Pebbles" http://www.machinadynamica.com/machina31.htm but I completely forgot Fairy Dust- and good sources?
These are my favorite new Magical Audiophile Accessory. By calling them "Quantum" and making them in Germany (we know they make quality stuff) they have completely outdone the tongue-in-cheek Brilliant Pebbles. http://highend-electronics.com/products/wa-quantum-chips?variant=961212879
They claim they don't interact electrically- just via "subatomic" properties!

I absolutely love that site. It makes my day to know that people bought these and thought he was serious. Check out these favorites of mine:
"Teleportation Acoustic Tweak": http://www.machinadynamica.com/machina60.htm
"Codename Blue Meanies Room Tweaking Device" http://www.machinadynamica.com/machina47.htm
"the Super Intelligent Chip" http://www.machinadynamica.com/machina62.htm

Just great, it really works! I had some rain dropping in my room and I used some Meanies in the ceiling, no more dropping, and the sound is much better now that I don't hear the dropping in the bucket anymore, great solution. A bit pricy though...

The Teleportation tweak is pure genius... telemoney factory...

I KNOW people have bought "Brilliant Pebbles." I wonder….

I know people who were so influenced by subversive advertising on an internet forum that they mindlessly bought stuff from merde audio.

Don't wonder, Resistance Is Futile.

Firmly tongue-in-cheek. But it has affected my listening. I spend WAY too much time testing!

Happens to me all the time!  I can be having a great listening session.  Then all of a sudden I realize that a note on the lower end sounds a little muddy.  I ask myself whether its the mix or maybe its the cans?  Well if its the cans then a little A/B testing should make that obvious.  So I start A/B testing.  At this point the listening session has been hopelessly derailed, I could end up researching EQ or posting on Head-Fi!

Off topic- there is a discussion of power cable, fuses, and outlets on the Mjolnir thread. I had to sit on my hands to keep myself from asking if they re wired their house and the transmission lines back to the power station. I'm guessing it's best to do something else for awhile to keep harmony? :) my comments won't do any good so I should keep silent! Not easy! :)

Art of audiophile is to find happiness and pleasure in your own way for this kind of hobby. Some are happy in making a fool of others being gullible into buying snake oil products.

Good thing I don't think I need to pay money to someone else to be happy about my own ignorance. Easier just to eliminate the middleman, be happy with the ignorance I always have and save some money along the way. Win-win?

Yeah that's win-win. And it'll be also win for me to buy what I like without getting complaints from people who have no business about my ears and money.
