The replacement (upgrade) cable ist super, I love it, the SQ  improves more clarity, tight bass and wider soundstage, more air between instruments... also is thicker

Yeah talking about that one, i prefer it with no earguides but  seems these keep my A3 stay put in ears and don't slide out so it's kind of love/hate relationship with the ear hooks

  Yes, agreed.  The soundstage on the A3 are the most impressive I've heard in an IEM.  Does any one know if what other IEM's come close/rival the soundstage of the A3?

The Z5's soundstage is even more impressive

Good question but who thinks like that here? I think if I have a new album I will pick up the Z5 first.

The Z5's are sublime but not $400 more so than the A3's. Around $450 however the z5's are a steal

I hava dunu dn1000 and i like the sound and amount of bass, but the cable is very bad and is torn, and also the isolation no so good and they uncomfortable.

Unfortunately I'v e never had the pleasure to listen to Dunu model you've mentioned, but my A3's are almost as good if not pretty much as good as my Z5's which is to say quiet excellent

I dont think they're fake A3s. Never listened to the Dunus but my friend was comparing the DN2000 with my A3 and he bought my A3 in a heartbeat lol.
