So. My zx1 died.

Looking to get something 2nd hand, not too expensive. Saw a few ZX300s.

Though I'm wondering if the zx507's worth paying double for with android and spotify, for more flexibility and convenience. hmm. and usb-c omg.

how is the zx300 with the mr walkman firmware?

The ZX507 is a beast 😀 ... I have an EU version with volume limit but with the latest firmware it is not an issue anymore with right headphones. You can also ruine your ears with the EU version. Haha!

I really like the bassy sound...and streaming capabilities... only weak point is battery. However with USB C charging is easy nowadays... I fully recommend the ZX507!

The Boya BY-DM100 USB-C microphone does not appear to be compatible with the ZX507. A shame.

Will try a few more recording apps and will update if any change.
Success using “Lesser AudioSwitch” and selecting USB DAC input. Got the Zoom (Japan) AM7 arriving this week (as the Boya isn’t in the same league).

At e-earphone, you can get the ZX300 for ~30'000yen and the ZX500 for ~50'000yen, used (like new)

I have a question is that ZX500 get Bit Perfect through Tidal/UAPP now ? Thank you.
UAPP yes but only first MQA unfold and you need to have bought the MQA add-in.

Last time anyone I know checked, Tidal App was still output at 48 or 192 dependent on mode selected on ZX507.

I tested this recently:

To clarify, "red mode" is bitperfect and "blue mode" performs SRC to 48 kHz (normal) or 192 kHz (high res streaming turned on). Which mode is being used can be seen in the logcat when playing audio.

Could you please specify what exactly was changed in the latest firmware? Does it fix the EU cap?

Hi guys! Has anyone tried NW-ZX507 with sennheiser ie600? How does it sound?
This combination sounds fantastic!
Does Sony have enough power despite EU volume cap?
I only listen with a medium volume, for most of the songs, about 40-50 volume level is enough for me (IE 600 driven by 4.4mm balanced jack).
