Looks like it'd give about the same shock protection as the TPU case. Doesn't add much for tactile sensations for the buttons though.

At 200 hour make now. The bass on the ZX507 does seem to reach lower than the 1A. Will report back. That new capacitor is likely attribute to that.

What is your burn in method?

I set it on fire!

Kidding aside, I play it nearly 24/7. Using anything from MP3 to DSD files.

I think my zx507 has reached steady state after 250hours of burn in as in I am not really hearing any easily noticeable difference to the sound.

After 200hours, the burn in changes gets progressively lesser and lesser.

I am now about half way of the 200hour burn in.

Now the ZX507 seems to have more attack in it's transient, also sub-bass notes feels like it sustains abit more "longer"(talking about microseconds), I am guessing the capacitors are getting more "seasoned". Also (non-recording/microphone based) Sibilance seems to have gone away almost completely.

How were you timing the burn in I cant seem to find a proper timer showing how long the player has been used

My take on Vinyl Processor:
So far I am only able to hear the effects on classical music and it's only very obvious on quiet pieces like Fur Elise. It sort of adds tiny clicks and pops to the music.

I don't think it makes any much of a difference to enable this effect for other genres of music because you won't hear this kind of tiny clicks and pops much at all. Disable it and save on battery life.

Question on the Walkman appplayback... Is there a way to make it read the track number embedded instead of the title? It seems that it's reading from the song numbering in the name instead of the embedded track numbers. So songs in a folder are going 1, 10, 11, 2, 3...
