UK model has back plate

So far it's been confirmed that the Mainland China, HK, Korean and EU models all have the backplate, we can pretty much assume all models but the Japanese one do. In fact when your model is set to the Japanese (J) destination, an additional menu appears where you see all the Japanese certifications, which is why it's not printed on the unit itself, I assume there is no legal requirement for of there as long as it appears in the software itself. Interestingly enough, that menu is hidden when the destination is set to Tourist (E).

Just one minute to change the destination code on J version :) And cost difference of 200 EUR considering starting price here in EU.
Does it require internet connection for the change, i should receive mine in a few days time.

thanks

I think many countries by law require you to have those safety cert/logo displayed on a visible location.

No but you have to have a file downloaded on your PC from the site mentioned here a few times. It really is easy.
Thanks, I will try it out once I get my japan unit, I don't have much knowledge in using command features.

OMG the ZX300 is amazing. Unfortunately I only have the Ultimate Ears Triplefie IEMs which probably don't do the ZX300 justice. I've ordered the XBA Z5s but over LDAC with the Sony WH1000x M2s the sound reproduction is wonderful.
