It is not exactly that, but the zx2 player app is affected by the sound adjustment app, if not disabled it would lower the quality of the sound. Once disabled, you can not adjust EQ or function of any kinds. However the Onkyo HF app (free) does have just as good sound quality, perhaps a bit more smooth, and I can still use the EQ if I do so prefer.

Gone mad app is fairly neutral and more balanced, it is much better in the trebles details and resolutions, however it is with flatter bass and mid range. It is the most neutral and still have good quality audio.

Just a note to say the ZX2 is due to become a lightning deal on Amazon UK at 6.30pm (gmt) today...so maybe it will be a good price like the other day for anyone looking to snap one up..

Well I will cancel mine at £~£568 if it goes cheaper. Its still showing as preparing for despatch so can still cancel or just return without issue. Minimum risk really seeing as returns extended to 31st December. I'm watching it now but maybe all the Prime members will snap them up before 6:30pm.
