don't hold your breath, ZX lineup was discontinued according to sony interview with the WM1 project leaders

I don't care for the ZX series' name, a spiritual successor with different initials would do just fine 

 . Heck, even a premium A-series model would be nice (think: silver aluminum body, thick headphone jack and faster UI)

How so? I had one for a week. My 6-year old A-845 walkman had a better screen, way more vivid and deep colours.

Did they literally say that there will be no more models in between the A-series and WM-series (disregarding the ZX100). If so, could you please provide me the link. I have to know for certain, letter per letter than I can rule out a spiritual successor lol

mine was bought from  a legit seller, yes it was faulty and the seller agreed to fix it better customer support from AccessoryJack than you average chinese DAP brands like fiio or iBasso, kudos to AJ 

 was fixed in a week wow speedy fix

Maybe I had a defective screen then, although the official screen specs are in line with my experience.

I still think the screen is not the problem for the sake of good sound.
