Can anyone please tell me how the buttons/pad handle compared to the A15? I find the A15's triangle shape very awkward, especially when it's in my pocket (the silicon case doesn't help). How much of the actual direction button pad responds to being pressed? Is it right to the edge? What happens towards the corners? Thanks

get the official leather case  ckl-nw-zx100, then this will not be a problem
 
can't really compare to a15 cos i have never had one, but the buttons on nw-zx100 are definitely larger and more precise than on the compact a1x series, so it less of problem
 
not really the edge, more towards the middle of the buttons
 
but the two smaller additional buttons are a bit small to press accurately sometimes

yes, pricey at hk$480/US$60/48 quid. but decent for it's pricey, magnetic closing mechanism, real leather, fits  like a glove, also the ckl-nw-zx2 is slightly expensive, probably the ckl-nw-wm1 will be even more pricey

  yes, pricey at hk$480/US$60/48 quid. but decent for it's pricey, magnetic closing mechanism, real leather, fits  like a glove, also the ckl-nw-zx2 is slightly expensive, probably the ckl-nw-wm1 will be even more pricey

well, the nw-zx100 ain't cheap either, my one will last until 2026, i will arrange a battery change at around 2021 from sony hk ( they did change new battery for my nwz-x1050 during 2013 for HK$200 /US$25)

honestly, if you really want an upgrade you better buy a better iem. for your classical music taste the Weston W60 sounds really outstanding. i have no plan to change my Dap but i really want an IE800.

For IEM's the fit brings a lot to the equation.And in that regard, I feel that nothing surpasses Klipsch IEM's. their X10, X11 & X12 series are superb.

I just tried TA-ZH1ES
 and MDR-z1r on my nw-zx100 with standard flac at 44.1ktz 16bit, it was impressive in scale and had a massive sound staging with very precise seperation of instruments

this was at Hong Kong Causeway Bay store

I don't know, this is a demonstration room dedicated for Sony signature range, nw-wm1z, nw-wm1a,etc,

Even had amplifiers stating not for sale (silver one at the back)
