my nw-zx100 replaced my older nwz-x1050, however, i have realised that x1050 can be used as digital noise cancellation for external sources ( includes twin jack/ single jack adaptor to walkman cable)
 
can you use this twin jack/ single jack adaptor to walkman cable for nw-zx100? does anyone know? i won't be brave enough to try on my nw-zx100, but i might try on sony centre hk demo one

I have myself 75% convinced for the XZ100 to be my next DAP after the A17 although they removed the podcast function...

I got my from Hong Kong seller, quite rare, but well worth it as the original screen apparently scratches easily

I've been happy using my A15 + XBA-A3 for the past year, but as usual upgraditis has me looking for the next step up. Is everyone still happy with their ZX100? Apart from better sound, battery life and so-called DSD support, any other pros over the A15? Any negatives to consider? What's the navigation pad like? I really dislike the awkward triangle shape of the A15's buttons, and thin back button. Thanks in advance.

​The back/Home buttons are also thin in the ZX100, i find the D-pad for navigation to be a bit easier to make mistakes when pressing, your finger slips to other direction

I had a very quick listen in the Sony shop with their demo pair of MDR-1A (I think) and I thought it was a very nice step up from my A15, but I would need to try it with my XBA-A3 to know exactly what the improvements of the player were. Do you know what the album art size limit is? I usually stick with 500x500, but some of the 1000x1000 displays ok on my A15

Album-art size limit hmmm don't know but i use 800x800 no problema.
 
I have the XBA-Z5 and had the XBA-A3 (the ones you have) and i feel the zx100 drives the A3 more easily than the Z5s.... you will note more clarity witht eh A3s, nice soundstage, refined treble free of distortion. if you add the Z5 you will note a bigger soundstage

I bought the AccessoryJack (Honkong company) and got a Honk kong version, it can be put in english, spanisch, deutsch etcetera

Hong Kong version has English, Spanish,german,french, Korean, simplified Chinese,traditional Chinese,italian, polish, Portuguese, Turkish as well as Japanese!

In everyone's opinion do you think the ZX100 is a huge improvement, sound quality wise, over the A25?

Because I have the A25 along with the Cayin C5 amp to draw out the most of my XBA-300s.But, I don't hear much of a difference in SQ with or without the amp. So I am wondering if it's worth my time to return both items and paying the difference to get the ZX100 instead. Will it greatly improve my overall listening experience?
