does anyone have the issue where under usb preferences, they can't switch to "connected device"? my MacBook recognises the DAP and can output to it, under file transfer mode, the DAP does not show up under "finder" either

Do you have the capped version? The Empyreans are quite sensitive and shouldn't be a problem for the Sony. I use the Arya Stealths, which are the most sensitive Aryas, and I don't have any problems with them. Do you have one of the other versions?

Same here with Arya Stealth, LCD-2 F 2022, LCD GX, ATH X70R and Sen HD660S enough power from WM1A M2 at what I'd described as medium/high volume (75 to 90 db according to my cheap-o db reader)

Lol, I think I lost several brain cells reading that translated review, I really liked the part with the ZX-707 picture but with the caption NW-WM1AM2.

I had assumed that the wm1zm2 was much bigger than the zx707, it’s interesting to see how close in they are in size to one another.

Pretty close in size, yeah. But a heck load lighter and slimmer. I would say the 707 is more like a 1A miniaturized.

The new SOC is zippy and Zappy for 707, very zippy

Has anyone tried to use 1zm2 or 1am2 as a dac feeding an amp ? If yes, how did you do ?

Yes, I tried it with my Questyle CMA600i. Plugged in using a USB C to USB B cableto the back of my Amp, turned it on and got a message on my A2 asking if I wanted to use My amp ( it came up with a different name x core something) as USB out, clicked yes and that was it....

• Provides a Security update (The security level displayed in the Settings menu will be as of April 2023)

I’m long time ios user
So im not familiar with android
But on my wife’s phone , a samsung s23, she can set her phone without any bottom shortcut , the square , round and triangle thingy.
So her android phone, s23 behave cery much like and iphone, swipe left to go back and swipe up to close.

On my sony Wm1Am2 I can’t find any option to do that
Quite annoying ad i cant “swipe”
Is there any option to make it behave like a samsung or iphone ? With swipe gestures ?

Those 3 button on the bottom of the screen really taking up the screen real estate IMHO
