Hi

I tried to look on the e-earphone website to buy a AM2, but couldn't figure it out! How much did you have to pay in tax and customer etc? How long did it take for you to get it?

Thanks

I think paid around 200 in tax, but unit was originally only about £830 when I bought it, so cheaper than a UK unit. Took a little under two weeks, perhaps 10 days to arrive using a proxy forwarding service.

Previously in the thread I wrote down details of the method. I'll see if I can find it..

Same here for the US - paid state tax only so far, but my research says that’s all I’ll pay. But will see. So for Texas it was 8.2% tax on top the price of $2,900

Got a smaller braided cable from FogCity. Overall a solid cable, well made. My only criticism is it's got a braided nylon exterior so it's pretty microphonic with movement. Not a big deal with music playing but not ideal.

Anyone have any sub 150 usd cable recs that don't have a braided exterior

My other idea was electrical tape around it?

Sandisk extreme pro 1tb ebay. You'll find it well priced. And I've checked for being genuine.

Can someone please recommend a proper SD micro card at 1TB or 2TB that is not crazy expensive for the NW-WM1Z M2?

Please provide link to purchase it.

What is crazy expensive if one has a ZM2 hehe

I think I committed cable heresy twice today.

First I took out the memory from the memory wire by repetitively applying stretch along the axis of the Sony cable which I think put little cracks in the memory wire so that it's no longer holding memory

And now I'm taping up my shorter custom cable like a heathen

I was wondering if there is a simple way to add lyrics to the songs?
I have mostly ALAC and FLAC files.
I'm on Mac.
I looks like no tag software is able to add lyrics because of the LRC format https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/LRC_(file_format)
This is a big drawback of Sony Walkmans.
Other brands like A&K just read correctly the lyrics tags of a music file.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks :)
