Has anyone experienced problems trying to update the WM1AM2 firmware to 1.0.2 via wifi? I have a friend who recently bought the WM1AM2 and he can't update because it never goes past the 0% point when he starts the update process.

nope. updated both my M2s with no issues. Was pretty quick once I was prompted to connect to power while updating.

nope. updated both my M2s with no issues. Was pretty quick once I was prompted to connect to power while updating.

Yeah I had low batt so it won't start, but all fine once charged past 50 (I think?) and plugged in. Reboot felt faster haha

For whom upgraded to 1.02, did you notice any change in sound or battery life? Did they also upgraded Walkman app?
Right now I'm on vacation and I don't have my player with me.

I bought a Sony Kimber cable from them for a little too much (my only experience with them), and they marked the package as $10, so I paid no customs.

Thank you! They are XBA-Z5's, not EX1000. The cable is a Kbear 16 Core 4.4mm cable, I have no ideal if it is any good, just wanted to try 4.4mm balanced. Not tried the cable on my H3's.

No, went fine then a long reboot time doing update.

No noticeable difference to me in sound or operation.

Anyone has trouble to play DSD/dsf files? The two which came with the DAP play well, but many DSD files don't, though they do on PC, Mac and other DAP. Size and MHz limits as described in the manual are met. Meta data incl. art is displayed
