It’s about 2cm deep, so far holding the m2 alright. Only complains are the back angle latch has no locking design, it will dislodge when u move it changing the angle. So I put 2 scotch tape, problems solved. Due to its super light weight, I have to lift the m2 at the same angle as it rest, otherwise the stand will move easily. Other than that, it serve its purpose, have been using about 2 months. One more thing, the holding feet will leave its mark on the case, for this, u might need think of something soft to lay over them. For the price and aluminium quality, superb.can someone tell me how deep the part is that holds the device?
the iphone is around 8mm thick. so does it have a length of around 1,5cm?
i am asking because i wanted to buy it for the wm1z.

Very quick delivery (less than one week for Europe) but I had to pay 47 euros for taxes (26) and fees (21), Dignis don't deal with customs upfrontPray tell, how is the shipment handled by dignis? Are they able to do customs as well? I don’t mind paying customs upfront, but i hate the fees charged by shipping company for this service on such low cost items.
Cheers!
Thanks for your reply! That is the reason why I will most probably pass on their cases for the sake of principle; not keen on idea of paying better half of the price of the case on import fees and taxes. Hopefully they will find a reseller here in EU one day.Very quick delivery (less than one week for Europe) but I had to pay 47 euros for taxes (26) and fees (21), Dignis don't deal with customs upfront

I doubt they will anytime soon ... They have resellers in Asia and in Australia but that's it.Thanks for your reply! Look at another Korean company, A&K : they are not interested by the EU zone, very few dealers carrying only a few references.

AM2 arrived
A size comparison with the Onkyo DP-X1 (right)
The AM2 is only a little bit larger than the Onkyo, and shouldn't be even larger for my taste.
First listening experience (Direct on, DSP off resp.). Yes, the AM2 sounds clearer, a bit more detailed. You can here it, but it may not be such a huge difference for some of us. I used my UE RR IEMs at balanced out.
The Onkyo was 700Euro, the Sony 1.400Euro. And the Onkyo is already quite a good one.
First seen issues compared to the Onkyo
- not all covers are shown (don't know why)
- DSD/dsf multi channel tracks are shown but not played
That's for today.

anyone using USB Audio Player Pro here with their wm1zm2? It was stated in a few posts that it allows for bit perfect playback with tidal albeit with so single mqa unfold
How do you get bit perfect playback with uapp, what are the settings for internal hires?
It’s been forcing me to use the android driver

For bit perfect just go internal hires audio —> bit perfect mode —> turn on.anyone using USB Audio Player Pro here with their wm1zm2? It was dated in a few posts that it allows for bit perfect playback with tidal albeit with so single mqa unfold

Uapp only plays through android driver on wm1z
This is what support team tell me “Please note though that the Sony DAP's are problematic with our driver, so things might not function well.”
Apparently Ddhifi has caveat that it will only benefit cables with grounded shielding. Anyway it's out for the M2 series now.

It's irrelevent for headphones/iems as the ground isn't used or needed. It can be useful if using the pentaconn for line level connections to other devices where you can get a ground loop.

I find the flap kind of annoying actually on the Sony case. It makes it very awkward to hold. At least with the Dignis Walkman case the flap is removable so...I just ordered the black Dignis case. Indeed, the Sony case looks rather bulky, though it's at least a flip case. Currently, it looks like there are only two flip cases, Sony's and the Diginis walkman edition. Both not so ideal for my

One more issue I found, when i use folder and select album folder, songs are not in numerical order. It is really annoying to reorder list every time. It only happens with some of my folders. Let me know if there is a fix for this.First seen issues compared to the Onkyo

For those using Amazon HD, make sure your settings have normalisation turned off! I just realised this was on by default. Sound more dynamic now obviously.
Enjoying the new Muse Album! Bass and clarity with the Z5's is mega! Just need to find where one can download a 24-bit 96KHz version.
Also a bit of Walkman party
..and incest lol:

Hey everyone,
For those using WM1Z, how long does your battery last? I picked mine few months ago and it barely lasts 12 hrs (files are 320Kbps/FLAC).
Cheers.
