Does anyone have one of the Walkman docking stands? Like this one: STD-NWU10-B?

I can't find any information on what connection type is supported on the back. The listing says that the USB cable is not included; does that mean a standard USB cable is all I need to connect to my Mac for sync?

Thanks in advance...

From what I understand the USB charging/data transfer cable that comes with your walkman plugs into the back (proprietary end into dock). Then you plug the usb end into your computer or an AC Adapter for charging.

Hi, just want to make something completley clear for myself before I pull the trigger on this one. Can I connect the NW-A35 usb port (assuming I have the right cables/adapters) to another DAC or DAC/AMP and only use the DAP as a digital source? Is there a setting in the player for that or do you just plug and play?

Would be very thankful for a clarifying answer.

Yes, all you need is one of these:

Interesting! Do you know if it's an analogue or digital signal coming out? It's commonplace to get analogue signal out (so going thru the built-in DAC) and amp that, but so far I knew only of one Sony cable that provides digital out.

SONY is preparing a successor: the NW-A40 series with USB-DAC capabilities (as well the ZX300, not particularly thrilled about it as i have my WM1A)

ZX300 and the A40 series seems to have MQA support and BT 4.2 aptx and NFC
