Most likely this is the original cover, sold separately.

I have a question for the author equalspeac, you do not notice that this player reacts too late on the button to switch tracks?

It does lag slightly when using the rewind/ FF/play/pause physical buttons. I'm not really bothered by it though.

Hi there! What about your case? This is sony original case ? What firm?

Here's where I got it: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01MUC09SD/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Hi, could you tell me if this A35 delivers enough power to drive correctly my shure se535 ?
What's the pros compared to Shanling M2s or fiio x3ii ?

Thanks

A35 has roughly 3x the battery life of the other 2
A35 has 16 GB onboard vs none for other 2
A35 has bluetooth support X3II does not, M2S supports AptX
A35 better UI than other 2.
A35 more compact design than the X3II

Honestly the choice should be between the A35 and the M2S as the X3-II is outdated by 2017 standards and by most accounts the M2S sounds better. Not to mention that the X3-III is apparently on the way to distributors now and should be available by the end of August in some areas. Check out the X3 Mark III thread here or the Fiio web site for details. It is a big improvement over the X3-II. I would say in terms of specs it competes head to head with the M2S and they should be priced about the same. Hope this helps

Thanks for your quick and helpful answer.
I have an opportunity to get a second hand A35 uncapped for a good price, and this dap looks fine to me. But I'm really worried about the output power. I read many comments saying it is too weak. The shure 535s are 32ohms, 119db and I don't want to add an amp for nomad reason.

I have a Sony A17 which is only 10 mW per channel vs 35 mW per channel for the A35 and it can play my on ear B&W P5S2's at a listenable level My headphones are 22 ohm with sensitivity of 108db so they are fairly close to your Shure's overall. If I can get by with 10 mW I would think you would be fine with 35 mW. Keep in mind many of those complaining of low power are using 60 ohm+ headphones.

Honestly having heard the A35 recently it should drive headphones 32 ohms or under just fine. Not to mention the sensitivity of your headphones at 119db is higher than normal as well. The higher the sensitivity the easier the headphones are to drive.
