Fiio's new X1ii is looking extremely competitive with this (and you don't need WM port for line-out !), and the Shanling M1 looking like an audio nerd's version of those old watch-sized Ipod Nanos (with Line Out, dac/amp function ANDhas USB-C OTG for dac/amps!)... but I think I am too habituated to Sony, not to mention greater likelihood of A30 having solid firmware/UI out of the gate.

yes i know .. on our screens those players looks like a better deal than walkmans .. like both Fiio x3 and walkman A 10 ... according to specs and on paper fiio is better dap than the walkman hands down : a dedicated high end Wolfson dac , a way way more powerful amp and a regular 3.5 mm line out and it is so powerful too ... i have both and from my actual experience i grab the walkman each time i am listening to my music ... it is lighter .. more intuitive ... better blind control ... disappears in my pocket .. great battery life .. but most importantly better sound quality and more clear higher resolution sound out of my shures and iems generally !! .. i llike my x3 and still using it as an external dac but i really love walkman

Here, it says NO to FM RECORDING, RADIO TUNER, but YES to FM TUNER. Which one to believe?

FM works only with headphone antenna or can I send FM via USB Out or Bluetooth to BT speakers too?
