I’m still looking for a set of headphones that are designed to give a speaker like presentation. So far MDR Z1R from what I’ve read is designed this way, and I have that experience when I listen to the IER-Z1R but those are IEMs.
Does the Z7m2 have a similar presentation as above?
Are these cans still readily available outside Japan? What’s the demand been so far as I’m not sure if it’s in high demand or not. Don’t think there’s anything that states headphone sales?
Plugging the Z7M2 + Kimber Kable combo straight to my iPad 6G to watch anime is a godsend in audio fidelity; the iPad 6G has (barely) enough power to drive the cans
Well...thanks?
What's the famous saying?
Ah, that's it:
No good deed goes unpunished
Just kidding you on this - more kidding myself.
I genuinely thought you might find the info you
were seeking at one of those sites, at least.
Of course I did look them over and check much]
of the info they had on the topic which, you said.
interested you.
Anyhow, enjoy the day. Or evening.
Whatever time of day it happens to
be where you are. Here in NYC it's
late evening becoming nighttime.

How much do the Kimber cables add to the sound when powering off an iPad? Gotta love apple for giving us high powered headphone jacks. I wish other windows laptops like Dell XPS would follow suit

I really don’t subscribe that much to the powers of cable rolling. I bought my Kimber Kable primarily for looks and build quality (not to mention I wanted a much shorter pair of 3.5mm cables compared to the stock pair that came with the Z7M2); luckily, they were on sale (50% off the SRP) when I chanced upon them. Unfortunately, i don’t have the stock 3.5mm cables with me to do a proper comparison but top of my head there‘s not too much of a difference.
