quite the seller,

Also, I feel ripped off
Dude what even is this? Is this how your headphones were shipped? Like just the box wrapped in bubble wrap and postage attached to it? If that's the case you're lucky it even made it there. I guess not many audiophiles at every postal shop between there and your doorstep haha.

No. it was in another cardboard box. What you see attached is a thank u note (Arigato in japanese I believe) and a little paper duck, how cute is that.
I'm just confused about the price, it says the value is 35k yen = 312 usd :eyes:

I noticed that too. Somewhere, someone that lives in Japan and is apart of this thread mentioned that the Japanese audiophile community had really harshly reviewed these HP. They also mentioned something along the lines of retailers really really discounting them. Maybe that has to do with the roughly $312.00 USD price/value sticker?

It might be for lower import taxes? (was it imported?) Some sellers mark down the price for the buyer to avoid huge import taxes. ( 25% here )

Nah don't feel bad dude! Hell I paid $900 and I don't even feel bad lol. You'd probably be on suicide watch if you'd paid what I paid LMAO! I think they're worth every penny though.

But yeah the fact that the seller almost doubled their money (not quite) is about par for the course. They'll be making money for quite a while off us yanks haha.

The seller was doing you a favor and writing a lower value to lower your customs fees, they have been around ¥ 45,284 here for the past 2 weeks. Now all those cheap ones are selling out It think as most places have gone back up to 50,000 again. I have never seen them sell for 35,000 and there is no record on kakaku of them ever being any cheaper than ¥ 45,284. So dont feel ripped off, they actually helped you!
