I've been trying to decide between the two but there isn't enough info on the Sony's yet.

I have considered the UE6000 but they don't have replaceable pads!

My musical tastes include:
•R&B
•examples: Ne-Yo, Bruno Mars, etc.
•Hip Hop
•The only rap artist I listen to is lupe fiasco
•JRock/Pop
•Sign by Flow, A Town In Blue By AKFG, Yui
•Classical/Soundtrack/OST: Hans Zimmer, Kingdom Hearts soundtrack, etc...
•Rock/Alternative: This Is War by 30 seconds to mars

Additional Note:
I've owned the SR80is and wasn't quite impressed by the low amount of bass.
I have the Citiscape Uptowns (Philips) and like them but they are a little too warm and boring. I don't really like recessed mids at ALL.
If the MDR MA900s sound like the MDR7506, I do not want them. The 7506 were just too peircing (EQ helped but not full). Now what I did like is the bass, but I could settle for more.

I already know all the specifics about the 2 (impedance, open, closed, comfort, etc.), I'm looking for pure music enjoyment, nothing else.

These will be run off if an iPod touch 4g with a fiio e11.

First, the MDR MA900's sound nothing like the MDR 7506's.

Second, if you like the bass of the 7506 and perhaps a bit more, it seems the Beyer 770 would be a great choice for you.
They're good sounding headphones that pump out the bass; indeed more than the 7506's.
