A question .!!
Why is nobody making it? 4,4 mm female >> 2,5mm male balanced translator ??? There are a couple of cables that have 4,4 pentacones with a factory-balanced cable. (Senn HD660S / Sony MDR-1AM2) It's so difficult to launch ??? since the reverse is available.
(Fiio does not make, only 2.5 female 4.4 balanced male jacktranslator (BL44) )I do not understand this well ... if we are mixing here with pentaconne 4,4 / Trrs 2.5 outputs ..:)

There are an adapter on amazon with these specifications, but i found a cable that better suit for your needs. It's on ebay:

Have They sent the wrong cable? I'm waiting for mine

I say ! Unfortunately, the 3.5 mm 4-pole section is not real 3.5 mm, it moves in the head head part. But the seller was a fair refund. (but maybe yours will be fine)

Here's the original
pls. its , black is factory .. It looks like it's thinner than a few tenths of a inch. Now I'm looking for a normal metal 3.5 4 pole jack. The 2.5mm part is good. The cable is quite thin. cable is 125 cm.So if you have to cut off the new jack then it's still good.

Mine arrived. It works better than the original. And i can say that the sound is improved in every way. From an es100 these are the reference of the dynamics for me. the sound is enormous and make me feel like i’m in front of a 20000 watts system. It is very recommendable to not raise the volume too much. While the sound pressure is very impressive and every frequency is present and vibrant, a lot of people would judge the sound too sculpted because of the ease of the drivers to manage such a movement. The best with that type of current through the drivers is to enjoy the swing at medium volume, the sound become super defined and the wall of sound remain punchy and never toomuch in your face. The bass is more controlled and the proverbial speed is there.

I received mine and paired it my WM1A. Bass is overwhelming when the dap set with vinyl processor so I set it to direct source instead without any sound enhancement applied. Overall the phone is very good and sure satify many basshead audiophile. It is a keeper.

Anyone know where I can get a standard 3.5mm (no inline remote) for the MDR-1AM2? I just got the ibasso DX120 today and the cable with the inline remote won't work with the DAP. Read on the DX120 thread that the DAP will only work with select cables that have inline remotes, apparently Sony isn't one of them. And the balanced cable won't work, as the DX120 takes a 2.5mm connection. Thanks for any help.

So like the cable won't work at all? like no audio through it because it has an inline mic? You may be better off getting a 4.4 female to 2.5 male adapter to use your balanced cable with the iBasso. Check Amazon they're on there.
