100+ Head-Fier
During the last couple of months I have had the 558s and they have gotten richer and the bass is perfect for me. Admittedly I'm no basshead. I use the Fiio E7 with the bass boost at 2 out of 3.
Something like the HD558, but with a bit more bass

beyerdynamic dt 770's would probably be perfect for you. if you want want to use it on a portable device, would have to get it in 32ohms or 80ohms.
