hey guys i dont come on this forum often and you probably wont ever see a post from me again, but my birthday is coming up and i think im going to ask my parents for some new headphones and i want something that looks good and ill be able to listen to around school. i mostly like progressive metal (TOOL) and my price limit is prefferabley $200-$300 but i could probably go up to $350 if needed.
 
PS ive been looking at the B&W P5's and V-MODA Crossfades

Hey, so you're looking for headphones or IEMs?  You posted this in the portable headphone/IEM board!  You should head over to the full-sized headphone board if you're looking specifically for headphones.

oh my bad... sorry bout that i thought "portable headphones" meant like headphones you would wear casually instead of like studio use or something thanks for the tip

Both the crossfades and P5s are easily portable IMO. I wrote a review comparing them (and some others) a while back.
